Questions hospitals ask us.

Integration, deployment, RFID, data protection and how a project starts. If your question is not here, ask us directly.

Do we need to replace our ERP or hospital information system?

No. Synexia works with the systems you already have. Integration is designed with your IT team, so that data flows without double entry.

Can the platform run on our own servers?

Yes. It can be deployed in the cloud or on-premises, depending on the requirements of each organisation.

Do we have to use RFID?

No. RFID is used where it adds clear value, such as high-value devices, consignment stock or theatre storage. Barcodes, Kanban and digital workflows cover many other processes.

Where does a project usually start?

With a diagnosis or with a pilot in one unit where the problem is visible, with success criteria agreed before starting.

How long does a pilot take?

It depends on the scope and on the integration needed. We define the timeline with you during the diagnosis, before any commitment.

Will it add work for nursing staff?

It should not. Our design principle is that identification happens as part of normal work, and nursing teams take part in designing the process.

How is data protected?

With data protection by design, in line with the GDPR: access control by role, traceability of actions and data minimisation. Hospital data is processed under a data processing agreement.

Does it help with UDI traceability under the MDR?

Yes. The product master and capture at reception and at the point of use support recording UDI and linking each device to the procedure and the patient. Each hospital remains responsible for its regulatory obligations.

Do you only provide technology?

No. We work on the whole path: diagnosis, design, technology, implementation and continuous improvement. You can start with any of them.

Do you work outside Spain?

Yes. We work in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese with healthcare organisations in Europe and Latin America, adapting each project to local regulation.

Let's transform healthcare operations.
