Synexia was founded to bring together healthcare knowledge, operational experience and technology in one organisation.

The company is new. The experience of the people behind it is not. Our professionals have individually spent decades working in healthcare, hospital operations, logistics, technology, project management and transformation.

The name

Synexia comes from the Greek for connection and continuity: connecting clinical, operational and scientific data to turn it into actionable intelligence.

Our experience

We know the hospital from the inside.

Our knowledge comes from understanding the situations a hospital lives through every day, because we have worked inside hospitals, alongside the people who keep them running. The company is new; that experience is not, and it covers every area we work in.

HealthcareWe have worked with clinical and nursing teams, and we know where operations touch patient care: the material that must be ready before a procedure starts, the time nurses spend on stock instead of patients, the safety checks that cannot be skipped.
Hospital operationsWe have run services that never stop: requests on the night shift, a unit that runs short at the weekend, an urgent order outside the usual circuit. We design for the hospital on its busiest day, not for the hospital on paper.
LogisticsWe have organised central warehouses, distribution circuits and point-of-care storage. We know why shortages and surplus appear in the same hospital, how consignment stock is reconciled and why expiry dates get missed.
TechnologyWe have specified, integrated and deployed hospital systems, identification and RFID technologies. We know what it takes for a solution to work with the ERP, the clinical systems and the network that are already in place.
Project managementWe have led projects with many stakeholders: management, purchasing, pharmacy, nursing, IT and suppliers. We plan around clinical activity, so that implementation does not interrupt care.
TransformationWe have accompanied change in organisations with deeply rooted routines. Change holds when the people who use the new process help design it, and when its results can be measured.
